Welcome to Year 2!
We have an exciting year ahead in Year 2, filled with lots of opportunities to learn, create and have fun together! Throughout the year, we will take part in a range of exciting activities, including making our own clay dragon eyes, exploring our local area on a field trip, creating and printing our own maps, performing in the KS1 Nativity, designing and making Ferris wheels in DT, taking part in Sports Day, and writing and illustrating our very own books!
In Year 2, we strive to become independent and responsible members of our school community. We take pride in everything we do, complete our home learning and approach challenges with a positive growth mindset. We know that mistakes help us to learn and that every challenge is an opportunity to grow as we continue to become "Ready for Life."
Our Year 2 team includes Mrs Davie, Mr Smith, Mrs Brison and Mrs Godfrey. We are excited for the year ahead and cannot wait to see all that the children will learn and achieve in Year 2!
