Our Art border for this page was inspired by William Shakespeare
It has been another busy week in Year 6. The class have started writing their explanations based on volcanoes and earthquakes. These will include a lot of technical language that explain some complex geographical processes. The children have also been challenged to use a wide variety of punctuation and grammatical features.
Year 6 have been rehearsing ahead of the Christmas Carol Concert next Wednesday evening. It is clear that the class have learned their speaking parts and are taking their roles very seriously. This has resulted in two excellent rehearsals, making me very excited for the performance on Wednesday.
I would like to thank all of the adults who came to help with Christmas decoration morning. Your support was much appreciated by us as well as the children! The class created some lovely decorations, along with some delicious mince pies! Some of these should have been brought home today, the rest will come home at the end of the term.
