Our Art border for this page was inspired by William Shakespeare

Year 6 have settled back in excellently after a week off. Mrs Fotheringhame and Mr Berrigan have been in charge for most of the week and they have both had some lovely things to say about the whole class.

On Wednesday, Year 6 represented the school in the Sportshall Athletics Roadshow at Kenilworth school. This involved taking part in a wide range of indoor sporting activities, competing against other schools. As always, the class did a fantastic job of representing the school, demonstrating many of the words from our school vision in the process (resilience, team players, motivated, challenged, supportive to name a few).

Throughout most of the week, the class have been designing and making their very own chocolate boxes. Mrs F, Mr B and I are all hugely impressed with the quality and accuracy of their designs. In a few weeks’ time, the class will make their own chocolate to put inside the boxes.

There is no home learning this week, except for continuing the practise spelling and times tables, this should give children time to prepare their presentation that will take place on the week commencing 18th November.
