Our Art border for this page was inspired by William Shakespeare

It has been another good week in Year 6. We began the week with some excellent writing, taking into account the different emotions and perspectives of characters in one of our class texts ('The Island'). In maths, the children completed two assessments this week and have really impressed me and Mrs F with their level of problem solving, especially considering the difficult circumstances of the last few months.
On Thursday, the class took part in Sports4All which involved an active 30 minutes of different activities in the hall. As ever, Year 6 engaged brilliantly, dashing around the hall, throwing, balancing, fetching and showing off their athleticism.
On Friday, Year 6 held a book sharing event, where everyone spoke about a book that they recommend to each other. The class engaged in this brilliantly, listening intently to each other and collating a list of books that they would like to read in future.
Have a lovely weekend all!
