Our Art border for this page was inspired by artist Hans Holbein

and Tudor portraits.

Willow Class have had fun this week looking at how the human digestive system works. They were able to create life size pictures using junk modeling to represent all of the organs involved. Next week, we will research the role of each of the organs and add labels to the pictures.

As part of our History work we have reflected on the significance of a poppy and why it is worn. We then made 3D poppies from card in preparation for our Remembrance Assembly next week.

The children should be commended on on their hard work consolidating their learning of subtraction and addition. They were able to solve problems by selecting efficient methods, and use estimating and rounding to check their answers.
