Our Art border for this page was inspired by our Rainforest topic.

This week in Year 4 we completed 'All About Me' for the villains in our twisted tales. We thought about their prized possessions, strengths, weaknesses and so much more! The children then finished the week by writing newspaper reports, explaining what happened in their stories. Willow class had an Art day where we sketched wolves inspired by Mark Crilley. They were absolutely amazing and everyone produced such brilliant and unique pieces! We have started our new topic in maths on time and have been recapping telling the time to 5 minute intervals and then to the nearest minute. Year 4 finished the week with a webinar by author and TV scientist Professor Ben Garrod who told us all about endangered species and read extracts from his Extinct book series. We loved finding out more about the links from our Antarctica and Rainforest topics, as well as our Living Things current science topic.
