Our Art border for this page was inspired by Wolves, Eyes and Stormy Skies.
This week in Year 4 the children have been working hard to complete our end of term maths quizzes. They stayed resilient and worked positively throughout the week. We looked at time conjunctions and started writing our diary entries inspired by Shackleton. Willow class described brilliantly the pack ice and being stuck in the middle of nowhere! The children imagined they had ended up on their new discovered islands, drawing landscapes of the first picture taken when arriving. In the Environmental Area, Year 4 created shelters as if they were staying on their islands- it was one of our favourite activities we have done so far. Mrs Cain finished the week by starting work on our pen pals project, the children were wishing a school in Italy a Merry Christmas!
