Our Art border for this page was inspired by artist Hans Holbein

Year 4 class have been curious about many religions of the world. We have looked at Hinduism in detail and researched the gods and goddesses and different celebrations. We then compared how Diwali is celebrated within the Hindu religion in comparison to the Sikh religion. It was great to see so much enthusiasm and excitement learning about people's beliefs and what is important to them.
In Maths, we have started to apply all our times tables knowledge to short multiplication. Some of us even went for the extra challenge of multiplying 4 digit numbers by 1 digit. It was great to see so many children really pushing themselves and getting more and more confident with their tables.
As part of our celebrations for Chinese new Year, the children made lanterns, learnt to count 1-10 and use basic greetings when taking the register.
