Our Art border for this page was inspired by Aboriginal art.
This week we have been curious learners asking lots of questions. We used teamwork and investigative skills to find some answers to our questions.
In maths we looked at the properties of 2D and 3D shapes. We investigated to see which 3D shapes rolled and could be stacked. Some children even went onto find out if the size of shape affected how well it could roll. In Science, we enjoyed using magnifying glasses to identify different insects into two contrasting microhabitats on the school grounds. We then presented the data that we collected in a bar chart. In English we thoroughly enjoyed performing Billy and the Beast before writing a story map. Using the story map we innovated the story to make it our own. Next week we look forward to writing our final versions ready for publication.
