This has been a 'different' Spring term and the children have worked hard both at home and in school. Thank you so much for all your support.

 

For our final week of term, the children have been learning about why some people celebrate Easter and some of the signs and symbols associated with this time of year - spring flowers, hot cross buns and chocolate eggs! The children made cards and decorations to take home and we also had an egg hunt in the Environmental Area 🙂

 

We had a super dance day with Ricky Brown and the children loved watching all the final performances which had been videoed. They listened well and learned some new moves!

 

Our sunflower pictures are now being proudly displayed in the entrance hall - such colourful and detailed paintings.

 

I hope that you all enjoy a rest and some family time this holiday and I am already looking forward to the summer term and our exciting new topics - starting with Peter Rabbit 🙂
