Covid Guidance

Please note the following:

As you are aware, the national guidance was updated on Monday, 21st February stating that you are no longer required by law to self-isolate following a positive LFT or PCR test.  However, it is still advised that if adults or children test positive, they should stay at home and avoid contact with other people for at least 5 full days, and then continue to follow the guidance until they have received 2 negative test results on consecutive days. This helps to reduce the chance of passing COVID-19 on to others.

Schools have been asked to still notify close contacts of anyone who tests positive to ensure you are aware in case your child develops any symptoms so please be mindful that you may continue to receive any such communications via email.  Should you develop any of the main symptoms then a PCR test should be booked.  In line with national guidance, we recommend that your child continues to attend school unless they develop symptoms or test positive.

The government are due to announce further updated guidance on Friday, 1st April.
