Spanish Day at Priors Field, Friday 18th May

The children learnt all about some Spanish traditions and festivals. They joined in some Flamenco dancing, clapping with the rhythm and footsteps. Mrs Cain and Year 6 cooked Paella for the whole school, it was delicious, every child was encouraged to taste. There was no leftovers! Year 5 & 6 have had an art morning on Dali, Year 4 learnt some Spanish songs, and Year 3 made castanets. Year 2 learnt the Spanish names for colours, Year 1 created a self-portrait looking at Picasso and Reception created some Spanish fans.

A Spanish bull joined in the fun and games at lunchtime! Many thanks to Mrs Cain for all her creativity bringing a flavour of Spain to school. Muchas gracias!
